Transfer Orders Issued for DSPs of Jammu and Kashmir Police

In an administrative move aimed at restructuring and optimizing operations, the Jammu and Kashmir Police Headquarters has issued Order No: 317 dated February 9, 2024, announcing the transfer and posting of several Deputy Superintendents of Police (DYSSP) with immediate effect.

The transferred officers, listed with their respective previous and new postings, include Mohammad Usman from DYSP IR-22nd Bn to SDPO Tral, Mubashir Rasool from DYSP PC Sopore to DYSP IR-4th Bn, Dr. Showkat Ahmad Bhat from SDPO D.H. Pora to DYSP PCR Srinagar, Raiz Ahmed from DYSP PC Kakpora to DYSP SIA Jammu, Faraz Hussain Shah from DYSP JKAP-13th Bn to awaiting posting.

Zafar Mahdi from DYSP PC Bandipora to DYSP JKAP-6th Bn, Mansoor Ayaz from SDPO Pahalgam to DYSP JKAP-7th Bn, Mohd Nawaz Khandey from DYSP DAR/PC Baramulla to DYSP Hqrs Pulwama, and Rohit Chadgal from DYSP DAR Reasi to awaiting posting, among others.

The order emphasizes the immediate relief of the transferred officers from their current positions.

The communication also includes copies for information and necessary action to various authorities, including Special Director General CID/Crime J&K, Director General of Police, J&K-Jammu, Assistant Inspector General of Police (Personnel), and other high-ranking officials across different police departments and training institutes.
